What was verified for this build?

This source passed CI checks and isolated installation, startup, restart, uninstallation, and public file verification in a temporary Windows environment.

Interactive UI behavior, real model calls, physical devices, and upgrades from older versions still need further acceptance testing.

Before you start

A Windows x64 computer and a trusted folder that AI may work with.
Your own model connection and credentials. Model calls may incur charges.
For device collaboration, another computer on the same trusted network, with pairing confirmed on both devices.

Questions before installing

Can I use macOS or Linux?

The desktop experience currently provided and verified is for Windows x64. Installers for other platforms are not available yet.

How do I verify the installer?

Check the version, file size, and SHA-256, and read the signature status on the corresponding card. When SHA256SUMS.txt is available here, download it too. Do not obtain installers from unknown sources.

Find the downloaded installer and copy its full file path. Open Windows PowerShell as a regular user; administrator access is not needed.
Replace the placeholder inside the single quotes below with the installer's full path, then run the command. Keep the surrounding single quotes; if the path contains a single quote, write it twice.

Compare the full 64-character output with the SHA-256 for the matching version above. Letter case does not matter. You can also click "Copy SHA-256" and replace the placeholder in the second pair of single quotes below to compare the values:

True means the hashes match; False means they do not. If the command reports an error, verification is incomplete: check the file path and read permissions.

These commands only read the file to calculate its hash. They do not run the installer or modify files. If the hashes differ, check that you selected the correct version and file, then download it again and recheck. A matching hash confirms matching file bytes; it is not a publisher's digital signature.

The current Rivloom installer is unsigned. Windows may show a source or reputation warning during installation. A file hash verifies the downloaded bytes; it is not a publisher's digital signature.

Will my installed version update automatically?

Rivloom does not yet support in-app automatic updates. Refer to this page and the release notes for manual downloads and compatibility. Publishing a new installer on the website does not update an installed client automatically.

Where is my data stored?

Task state and configuration are stored in the local application data directory. Work files stay in the project folder on the execution device. Model requests are sent to your selected model provider. Read the Privacy notice.
